The Opportunity
Dealstack is a SaaS platform that powers private equity. Private equity deal making remains manual, chaotic and backward. Our goal is to end these outdated practices and to become the new collaboration standard in the industry. Dealstack is built by PE, for PE. Founded by experienced professionals from within the industry, our solution sits at the intersection of SaaS, fintech and legaltech.Dealstack has an ambitious, multi-product roadmap. The first product went live in 2023. It allows private equity professionals to easily onboard and maintain investment programmes. Sincethen, we have launched several new products and features creating a multi-use case operating system for private equity.Following strong commercial traction from leading industry players, we are looking for an ambitious individual, with proven quantitative skills and attention to detail and who thrives with data-based tasks, to support our commercial operations. The objective of the role is simple: to deliver our clients an outstanding experience when onboarding onto our platform and throughout the lifecycle, anticipating their requirements and challenges and proactively helping them to use our software effectively.The role presents an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth tech company delivering new innovation to a fast-moving industry. You will help clients to onboard their complex PE structures onto our platform and achieve their goals with our software. You will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping how we do things and build the best processes and experience for onboarding and serving clients, so that they get the best out of our products and trusted relationships are established. Being at the frontline, you will engage with and serve PE lawyers, investment professionals, central functions and senior management at portfolio companies.

What job involves
Responsibilities:
Supporting the onboarding process of the structures of existing private equity clients’ 
portfolio companies on the Dealstack platform as well as the implementation process for 
live deals and the ongoing customer success initiatives. This includes a number of steps 
that must be followed with the highest level of diligence:
• Familiarising oneself with the nature of the deal and the deal structure;
• Making sense of various data sets (share registers, transaction records, cap tables, 
waterfalls etc.) and being able to make high level inferences;
• Cleaning and manipulating data in order to bring it to the required format for uploading 
on the platform;
• Reviewing various legal documentation;
• Identifying patterns and inconsistencies in the provided data records as well as missing 
pieces in the underlying supporting documentation and addressing those directly with 
clients;
• Keeping the team up to date with progress and flagging any issues as they arise;
• Thinking of ways to improve the onboarding and implementation processes and 
communicating those to the team;
• Delivering ongoing support to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention and 
building trusted relationships with clients
• Proactively engaging with clients to understand their needs and share best practice on 
how Dealstack’s products and workflows can address them in the best way possible.
• Acting as a liaison between clients and internal teams to address any challenges or 
concerns.


Desirable skills
Skills & competencies
• Ability to work and thrive handling large, complex data sets. Processing data, spotting 
patterns and inconsistencies is a must; 
• Proficient Excel user, particularly using functions such as: vlookup, index, match, sumif.
• Meticulous attention to detail (particularly essential!) with clear documentation and 
communication;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships with the 
team and our clients;

Qualifications & Experience
• Required: Degree in a quantitative field (finance, accounting, data science, or related).
• Preferred: Prior internship/work experience in finance or quantitative roles.
• Bonus: Familiarity with private equity deal structures and administration.
